Core Barrel Head Assemblies & Option
The Edge Latch Head Assembly is a robust, reliable tool that is supplied complete with landing indication and is fully compatible with the industry leader. The Edge-Latch latching system provides an enhanced mechanism for retracting the latches, which lessens the chances of sticking a tube.
Head Assembly Options include alternate Landing Indicator Bushings, Soft Shut-Off Valves, Solid Spindle Spacers as well as the Fluid Retention Kit and components. Heads are always shipped assembled so optional components need to be ordered as extra parts and switched out on receipt of shipment.
Note: A standard head assembly is supplied with landing indication installed. If you do not wish to use landing indication it can be removed prior to use. Head assemblies are filled with grease prior to leaving the factory. For lost circulation conditions, see optional fluid retention kit.
